Palette-Spreadsheet Version

‘Palette - Spreadsheet Version’ is a moment-to-moment gameplay prototype of ‘Palette’ - a 3D exploration & strategy game with horror elements. 

A kindergartener gets into an evil conspiracy after school on Nov.11th. Three of his classmates get trapped in the 1-hour pick-up window in this kindergarten by an unknown being, forced to prevent this tragedy, in order to break out of the time loop. 

This game extracts the core game play out of the 3D version of ‘Palette’, letting players experience the narrative and mechanism aspects of the game in a straightforward and efficient way.

The core gameplay demonstrated includes: 

1) Switch among 3 playable characters, each gets access to different clues. 

2) Clue gathering - conversations with NPCs; 

3) Clue gathering - Query with NPCs based on previous clues collected.;

4) Clue gathering - explore the space and search for interactable items;

5) Clue gathering - eavesdrop on conversations between NPCs.
